No Crowds
Only 18,000 people live in the Cook Islands. It’s so easy to engage with the warm local Māori people and enjoy wide open beaches and clear turquoise lagoons. North of Rarotonga, Aitutaki lagoon is populated by pristine islets of white sand and coconut trees.
No High-Rise Hotels
There's a local law that states no building can be taller than the coconut trees around it. You also won't find traffic lights or stop signs here. It's like going back to simpler times yet still being able to enjoy today's modern conveniences. And you won't be confined to expensive resorts as everything is close by.
